All Mesu members are reminded of the Extra Ordinary Council Meeting on 060811 at BIC Central at 1100 hours. Agenda to include: Contribution, Programs report & Projects Report. Members are encouraged to contact the secretary and the agenda, get copies of previous minutes and copy of the draft constitution prior the meeting.

We are having an Annual General Meeting for all MESU members on 26 March 2011 at BIC Bulawayo Central  from 1300 hours to 1600 hours. All members to attend.

1. Reviewing the past year 2010
2. Plans and program for 2011
3. Calendar for 2011
4. Election of Ad hoc committee(s)

About Mesu

1.      Background

Mesu is an acronym for Men’s Empowerment Support and Uplifting. This club was born out of an idea and or vision from Pastor H. The Club was formerly started in 2010 with 10 members. As the name indicates, the purpose of the club is to empower, support and uplift man. The initial members for 2010 were: Hloniphani Ndlovu, James Sibanda, Maqhawenkosi Mhlanga, Dumisani Mpabanga, Douglas Ndlovu, Cornelius Maphosa, Lindani Ncube, Nhlanhla Maphosa, Morgan Mpofu & Tamirirashe Shoko. In 2011 the club added ten other members to include: Milson Ndlovu, Glenn Ncube, Dumani Ndlovu, Sibonginkosi Ndlovu, Sehliselweyinkosi Sibanda, Kissington Ncube, Kholakele Ngwenya, Thabani Nkala, Thembelani Ngwenya, Mpumelelo Ncube & Rev Albert Ndlovu (Gegana). 


2. Management

On its inception in 2010, the club elected three members to be the committee as follows:
i)  James Sibanda Chairperson
ii)  Maqhawenkosi Mhlanga Secretary
iii) Dumisani Mpabanga Treasurer.

In 2011, the club formed a management committee as follows:

i) James Sibanda Chairperson

ii)  Hloniphani Ndlovu Vice Chair

iii) Maqhawenkosi Mhlanga Secretary

iv) Cornelius Maphosa Vice Secretary

v) Dumisani Mpabanga Treasurer.

Exist to empower members Spiritually, Socially, Financially and Materially.

5.     Objectives

It shall be the objective of the club to (I) Empower, (2) Support, (3) Uplift the livelihood of its members through;

i) Monthly contributions.

ii)  Establishing a Registered Company

iii) Investments

iv) Offering Spiritual support

v) Offering Social support

vi) Helping members acquire properties

vii) Helping members in Strategic Planning
